The Hualapai Amateur Radio Club (HARC) is based in Kingman Arizona, located in south central Mohave county at the crossroads of Interstate 40 and Historic Route 66. The club and its rich history was founded July 18 1973, is a non-profit organization and, has been ARRL affiliated organization for over 30 years.
HARC participates in and provides communications for various community events. Our club communications trailer can be found at many of these events, with club members operating radios and other members available to answer any questions visitors might have. When possible, visitors may get a look inside and see Amateur Radio in action.
In addition to community events and our regular club meetings, HARC hosts a monthly breakfast. The public is always welcome at these gatherings and are invited to attend.
HARC maintains a pool of certified volunteer examiners who facilitate monthly license test sessions as part of our mission to encourage and assist interested individuals in becoming licensed amateur radio operators.
